The State supports the risk-culture programme led by the AAMSPLROI

By Order No. 2025-23 of 7 November 2025, the Prefect of the Southern Indian Ocean Defence and Security Zone granted the Association of Friends of the Firefighters’ Museum of La Réunion and the Indian Ocean a subsidy as part of the fourth National Resilience Day.

This support acknowledges the programme developed by the association to promote and disseminate a culture of risk in La Réunion. Its aim is to preserve the memory of Réunionese firefighters and to raise public awareness—especially among young people—of natural and technological hazards: forest fires, cyclones, volcanic eruptions, coastal risks and industrial hazards.

This funding will be fully dedicated to the actions carried out in 2025 under the National Resilience Day label.

With the support of the Directorate-General for Civil Protection and Crisis Management (DGSCGC).
