The Departmental Council highlights our exhibition “Au feu, les pompiers!”

In its September 2025 magazine, the Departmental Council features an article on the exhibition “Au feu, les pompiers!”, presented at the Departmental Archives until 30 November 2025.
The article, published on page 19 and illustrated with a photograph of the exhibition, recalls that the event celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Fire and Rescue Service of La Réunion (SDIS 974). It also highlights the collaboration with our association for the design and implementation of this historical exhibition, which retraces seven decades of commitment by Réunionese firefighters.

We thank the Departmental Council for this recognition, which reflects the interest shown in the island’s emergency-services heritage and in the collective work carried out over the past years for the Firefighters’ Museum of La Réunion and the Indian Ocean.
