Two articles in ASP mag: the museum and the history of Réunion’s firefighters in the spotlight

ASP mag, the official magazine of the French Firefighters’ Publishing House (ESPF), published by the National Federation of Firefighters of France, has featured our work on two occasions.

In issue no. 48 (April 2025), the “To read…” section of the “To discover” dossier presented our book Histoire des sapeurs-pompiers de La Réunion, the first volume retracing the birth, development and modernisation of emergency services in our department.

Four months later, in issue no. 49 (September 2025), the magazine highlighted our exhibition “Au feu les pompiers!”, praising the quality of the collective work carried out to promote the heritage of Réunion and Indian Ocean firefighters.

We warmly thank Mrs Léane Chaussepied and the editorial team of ASP mag for these successive features, which reflect national recognition of the work undertaken by our association.

These two publications strengthen our motivation to continue our efforts to preserve, transmit and promote the firefighting heritage of La Réunion.
