Our aim is simple: to rediscover the missing pieces of our shared past. From time to time, we’ll post a historical question — a date to clarify, an event to expand upon, a tradition to explain…

Through your testimonies, anecdotes, photos, or documents, you’ll help us reconstruct the living memory of La Réunion’s firefighters. Your stories will enrich our heritage projects and, in some cases, may be submitted to the relevant authorities to contribute to the official record.

This initiative is open to all: former firefighters, family members, local history enthusiasts, or simply the curious. Because history belongs to those who keep it alive.
